New CPPCC session to open this Wednesday

China's top government advisory body, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, will begin its new session this Wednesday in Beijing. The Standing Committee of the 10th National Committee of the CPPCC has confirmed the timetable for the session. And they have gathered Monday to further prepare for the session. The first group of CPPCC members, from central China's Henan province, have already arrived in Beijing.
