Chirac meets with China´s leaders

French President Jacques Chirac is in China on a five-day state visit, as a guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

This morning in Beijing, Chirac met with Premier Wen Jiabao and top legislator Wu Bangguo.

During his visit to China, Chirac will also tour Shanghai and Hong Kong. And he will attend the opening ceremony of the France Culture Year in China.
