A wide variety of Chinese arts will grace the 2005 World Exposition, which gets underway today in Aichi, Japan. The "China Hall" will host a series of exhibitions and activities during the event.

In the Asia Exhibition Area, the "China Hall" is a largest international pavilion at the event.

With the theme of "Nature, City, Harmony -- Arts of Life", the China Hall aims to promote a future community where cities and nature can coexist and develop harmoniously, echoing the overall spirit of the Expo.

The architecture of the pavilion and the layout inside are vividly marked with Chinese characteristics. Live music, played on Chinese traditional folk instruments will also be part of the show. Screen displays and contemporary sounds and lighting, unite the modern with the traditional under one roof.

These Chinese images also pass connecting messages with the Shanghai World Exposition in 2010.
