Lebanon Prime Minister rejects tyranny

WATCH VIDEO

Fouad Siniora, Lebanese Prime Minister said, “They will really become able to paralyze the meetings of the cabinet of ministers secondly they will have the ability to topple the government.”

The anti-Syrian cabinet majority has accused Pro-Syrian Hezbollah of sparking unnecessary conflict. It also fears moves that could draw the country into a Syrian-Iranian orbit.

Asked if he would cede a third of all cabinet seats to Hezbollah, the leader of the anti-Syrian Druze faction gave an emphatic 'no'.

Walid Jumnlat, Druze anti-Syrian leader said, “In this country it's not the question of minority or majority, this country is the place of compromise, the basic compromise should be done about the presidency.”

Hezbollah and its allies have been demanding more power in government since the end of this summer's war with Israel. They've argued that Lebanon's sectarian system requires fair representation for all religious and political forces.
