China to launch 100th rocket

Wu said "We plan to name it the Long March-5 rocket. Research has entered a substantive stage. We intend to work out its payload and other capacity indexes over the next six years."
China launched its first rocket 37 years ago. It carried the country's first satellite,the "The East is Red-1" in April 1970. As well as launching domestically-made satellites and spaceships, China also launches foreign satellites for commercial purposes.
