HK police steps up efforts to maintain SAR´s stability

The Hong Kong Police are stepping up efforts to maintain public order as July the 1st approaches. They have an even more visible presence now.

These days, various activities are gearing up, to mark the Hong Kong SAR's 10th anniversary. Senior officials of the central government will come from Beijing for the celebrations around July the 1st. The Hong Kong police have pledged strong measures to ensure public security, to protect the VIPs and the public, during the festive period. "
