30 bicycle rental stations established in Beijing

Beijing has opened 31 bicycle rental stations in central areas of the city. By next year's Olympics, the number is expected to reach 200. And there will be more than 50,000 bikes for rent.

People can dial a hotline number to reserve a bike. And, if the bike you rent breaks down, you can go to the nearest station to swap it in for a new one. Organizers say they are planning new rental stations. They are focusing on opening them near subway stations, bus stops, commercial areas and Olympics venues.
