Wen pointed out the most urgent problem for Guangdong now is to get stranded passengers moving. He says it is necessary to establish a mechanism to ensure the smooth transportation of fuel, electricity and oil.
Regarding key problems that require immediate attention, Wen noted that damaged transmission facilities should be repaired to maintain normal operations of electricity grids. Ice and other barriers on the roads left by snow and rain should be removed as soon as possible and railway electricity systems should be restored.
After the conference, Wen met with police and railway staff who are working hard to deal with spring festival travel in Guangdong.
