China's State Council has ordered transport and electricity departments and local governments to stay alert for another round of precipitation in south and southwest China in the next 10 days.

Heavy snow is expected in the next three days in parts of Tibet Autonomous Region, and the provinces of Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan.

Sleet and freezing rain is also possible in most parts of southwestern Guizhou.

Areas along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River should see warmer temperatures with sunny or cloudy weather.

But in the middle of February, most parts of south China and the eastern part of southwest China will have three to 10 millimeters of rain and snow.
