Travel peaks as holiday ends

At some major railway stations, authorities have set up more ticket windows and travel information boards.
Road transport companies are working with the railways to ensure maximum passenger flow and bus companies have increased services to popular destinations.
Airlines carried 600,000 passengers on Tuesday -- the peak travel day, and the industry is confident it can deal with the huge number of travelers.
