Are you ready for it? You like facing challenges, but have you thought about the results it could bring?
LIU BOMING:
I've always reckoned that as long as you get fully prepared, the danger is small.
REPORTER:
If everything is under control, is there any risk?
LIU BOMING:
Nothing could frighten brave men. There are indeed some special situations, something we can't simulate on the ground due to limitations. But we could imagine them and train for them. For example, something could go wrong with the space suits, the spacecraft, and external changes could occur in the environment of outer space.
REPORTER:
If you aren't the one who makes the space walk, will you be sorry?
LIU BOMING:
No, I won't. Because each position has its own meaning. We are a team. When the mission is well done, all the three of us will be happy. Different positions have different requirements. But you have to be able to complete your own task and cooperate with the other two as well.
REPORTER:
What kind of affection do you have for space?
LIU BOMING:
To me, the attraction of space is greater than the earth's gravity.
