In Hong Kong's landmark Convention and Exhibition Center, 360 distinguished guests got a brief review of the glory journey of the Shenzhou-7 team, who carried out China's maiden walk in space for 20-minutes.
Hong Kong SAR's Chief Executive says their visit gives them courage during difficult times.
Donald Tsang, Hong Kong SAR's Chief Executive, said, "Your arrival lets us look back at the success of the Shenzou-7 mission. It reminds us the spirit of persistence. With the encouragement of the Shenzhou team, and the support of the Central Government, Hong Kong will work hard to conquer the current difficulties."
Gifts were exchanged to mark the ever-closer ties between the mainland and HK. A highlight of their visit will be the launch an exhibition on China's first space walk at the Hong Kong Science Museum. They will also talk to local students about their experiences in space.
