Giant pandas adapting well to life in Taipei Zoo

Ye jiesheng, president of Taipei Zoo, said, "Bamboo is part of their diet. Just like we tell our kids to eat a variety of food, and not be biased towards any one type, we let the pandas try many kinds of bamboo."

Zoo keepers prepared a new year feast for Tuan Tuan and  Yuan Yuan.

Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan have a big appetite and eat about 60 kilograms of bamboo a day. They love golden-leaf bamboo the most, although they only occasionally get it as a reward, as it is so expensive.
