Over 10 days, over 2,000 athletes will compete in 82 events. To meet the needs of the spectators, television stations have sent their best equipment and technical teams to broadcast the games live with High Definition quality.

Jiang Heping, director of CCTV Sports Center, said, "We have checked all the communication systems. And there is no problem with the transmission system, and the links between the studios and the venues. The technical preparations are all ready."
Aside from personnel, another special team is serving the Winter Games.
20 sniffer dogs finished their training and joined the police forces to secure the Games.
The dogs were trained for 5 months, to search for explosive items hiding in ski resorts and sports venues.
After finishing their first task of searching in the catering center in the athletes' village, they will check all the accommodation facilities and venues.
