Korean Peninsula nuclear issue tops talks of Hu and Kim Jong Il

President Hu Jintao said the two countries have weathered changing international and domestic situations, and that the friendship is important to both nations.

Hu Jintao and Kim Yong Il shared the view that their two countries should expand cooperation and deepen friendship in the future.

Top legislator Wu Bangguo also met with Kim Yong Il. He called for more exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' legislative bodies.
