Li Xingwang, Expert of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases said "As a clinical doctor, I think most of the patients should recover in a short period of time through treatment, as the symptoms are comparatively mild. It's unlike the SARS virus. I believe Chinese doctors are capable of treating the patients. We have the experiences to cure the disease. The question is how to reduce the speed of its spread and control the number of new cases."
Life remains the same in Chengdu. People are taking a wait-and-see attitude.
