The coming festivities possibly hold the most interest for the young in our midst. Children are finding many reasons to be cheerful in what must be China's biggest carnival of the year. Some of them are now getting the chance to spread their enthusiasm all over the country by performing at the national children's spring festival evening party held on Wednesday night in Beijing.
The gala has staged talented youngsters from all over the country, given them the opportunity to show off their artistic strong points in dancing and singing.
Looking at them you wouldn't think they had a care in the world other than doing it to the best of their ability. This is the first national－level children and teenager spring festival party.
