As a country boasting over 5,000 years of history, China has a vast cultural and natural heritage. In the coming week－long Spring Festival holiday, many busy urban citizens will see several specially designed tourist programs helping them to visit places they long to see.
The Temple of Heaven in downtown Beijing was the place where emperors offered sacrifices to the gods and prayed for rich harvests. Hundreds of years have passed. Now people in Beijing once again will re－visit the entire ritual ceremony in the seven－day Spring Festival Holiday. And the capital city will also see other activities like a Children's Hi－tech Temple Fair.
Moreover, in eastern China's famous tourist city, Suzhou, many activities with more cultural tastes will be held. At the well－known Suzhou Garden, people can have a chance to explore how ancient Chinese celebrated the Spring Festival.
At the same time, people can also visit scenic spots like Huqiu Pagoda or Hanshan Temple. Most of the sites are famous as they are related to ancient poets and stories.
