| Cartoonists celebrate New Year |

The capital's cartoon fans are in for a real New Year's treat. The National Science Cartoons Exhibition opened on Jan.11 in Beijing and will run until next month.
Over 400 science cartoons from across the country are on display at the exhibition. Most of the pieces have made great contributions to popularizing scientific knowledge. Renowned cartoonists including Hua Junwu and Ding Cong also submitted works to entertain their loyal fans. Outstanding works will be awarded during the exhibition. The show will run from Jan.12 through Feb. 8 in the China Science and Technology Museum free of charge.
