And the 2004 CCTV Spring Festival gala is no exception. However, this year, the old songs have a novel twist, mixed in with more stories.

It also promotes a healthy life style.
From the vigorous beats to the sentimental stories, the familiar theme songs transport listeners back to the captivating plots of the popular TV series over the past year. But the songs are not sung by the original singers. This time, they're sung by the lead actors and actresses in the TV series. This changing performance ushers in a new trend for the Spring Festival gala.
