The People's Liberation Army have got in tune with the Spring Festival atmosphere with an army themed gala presented on Jan.14 at Beijing's China Theatre. Top party, state and military leaders were present at the jubilant event.
It was another unforgettable night for the People's Liberation Army, which comes only once a year in the form of gala. First－rate artists from the armed forces teamed up with regular soldiers to present their entertaining talents to the audience.
Permeating the songs and dances was the spirit of the PLA's determination to keep the country and its people safe, as well as the expression of their happy life in the army barracks.
In addition to singing and dancing, short sketches and acrobatic shows also took the center stage, showing the versatile talents of those wearing the army green.
Chinese President and the CPC General Secretary Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Central Military Commission Jiang Zemin, and other principal Party, state and military leaders were alongside the audience at the gala.
