China's state broadcaster CCTV rolled out a wealth of choices for viewers during the Spring Festival. The broadcaster says that audience response has been positive during the week-long holiday.
"The First Month of Spring", "Home Decoration", "The Kitchen Squad," and the sequel to "The Legend of Nezha", all made their debut on CCTV's main channel during the Spring Festival holiday. And beginning on Jan.27, viewers can tune into the new series "Romantic Affairs." It's about ordinary people and extraordinary love. CCTV is hoping for a prime time hit. Also the popular was the TV series "Paramount Interests." It tackles the controversial issue of corruption and has won plaudits for its close up look at the politics of money, and the problem of truth. Children weren't left out, with plenty to choose from, like the animated "Adventures of Wayne the Bear."
