英语频道CCTV-9简介
中国中央电视台英语频道，即CCTV-9，于2000年9月25日正式开播，中国电视从此有了真正意义上的国际频道，世界从此可以用英语直接聆听来自中国的声音。每周七天，每天24小时，CCTV-9为包括中国在内的世界各国的英语观众提供以新闻及新闻性节目为主，专题及文艺节目为辅的丰富多彩的电视节目。各档整点新闻对发生在世界上，尤其是亚洲和中国的重大新闻进行实时跟踪报道；各类访谈、专题、文化和文艺类节目透析中国政治、经济、历史、文化、民俗等各个社会层面；几档教学节目是观众学习中国优美的语言和了解灿烂文化的课堂。CCTV-9的播出信号通过6颗卫星覆盖了全球98%的陆地和海洋，成为地球村信息传播的又一个可信、可靠、便捷的渠道。
CCTV-9, the English channel of China Central Television, was officially launched on September 25th,2000. China's TV industry has turned a news page and the world can listen to the voice of China in English ever since. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CCTV-9, mainly a news and current affairs Channel, provides English viewers in China as well as the rest of the world with various programs. News on the hour and every hour reports major events in the world, especially what's happening in Asia and China in particular. Various feature programs, documentaries and entertainment programs offer insight into China's politics, economy, history, culture, customs and all other social aspects. Education programs teach viewers the Chinese language, culinary art and Wushu.
