| 2,000 songs collected for Spring Festival Gala |

Aiming at finding out more good new songs to meet national audience’s needs, the Spring Festival Gala staffs have collected more than 2,000 songs from the beginning of October, 2002 with audience’s active participation.
According to the statistics, by Oct. 18 the Spring Festival Gala staffs have received 609 letters, 134 emails, 126 consulting calls and 27 visitors. The songs collected have been up to 2052.
These works were created by people from every walk of life including professional, non－professional, minority and overseas Chinese. These works will enrich the programs of the Spring Festival Gala.
But it doesn’t end yet, the songs are still being received. The staffs have registered all the songs and wish to find out more and more good works for the Spring Festival Gala.
