In Paris, the China Contemporary Art Exhibition is giving young Chinese artists a space to convey their unique understanding of life, abroad.

Don't mistake this for a computer game room. You can use the electronic dancing tug under your foot - it's not just for fun, it's about experiencing visual art to the full.

A creator named Feng Mengbo said, "Usually, visual art is for the eyes. My work is very special, it calls on the body to appreciate beauty. Just standing there is not seeing the work. You may not be used to this at first but then you'll feel like trying it again and again."

A white porcelain object is a vivid reflection of the artist's outlook on life. As its name suggests, "Daily, Easily broken" is a reminder that a lot of things in life are only temporary.

Some huge photos labeled "electronic rubbish" express the artist's concern towards information pollution and question the present state of mind of Chinese people.

Through sculpture, decorative and multimedia art, the 57 artists offer an exciting sample of what's currently on China's vibrant art menu.

The exhibition will be in Paris until October 13. If you can't make it to China, this is a great place to glimpse the social changes sweeping through modern Chinese society.
