| Sino－German youth festival concludes in Berlin |

Young people from Germany and China have just finished celebrating a special festival in Berlin. The second Berlin Sino－German Youth Festival came to an end with a Chinese folk song. Chinese students studying in Germany and more than 100 German students from Berlin and Bavaria have performed songs, instrumentals, and folk and modern dances in a festival aimed at promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the young people of the two countries.
The preparation of the festival coincided with the peak of the SARS outbreak in China. But the German side continued its work to show their support for China during the time of great difficulty.
Chinese Ambassador to Germany Ma Canrong attended the festival and thanked the young Germans for their understanding and support.
