Airlines resume China routes |

China's civil aviation administration has announced that airlines which cut services to the mainland because of SARS are re-opening major routes.
With air travel getting back to normal, Japan Airlines re-launched its twice daily flights between Tokyo and Beijing on Tuesday. All Nippon Airways has also resumed services to China. Its 68 weekly flights serve major Japanese and Chinese cities.
US carrier, United Airlines, has re-opened its Beijing-Chicago route, and its flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai. Daily flights will resume in August.
European carriers Finnair and Lufthansa are shortly planning to resume services to Beijing from Helsinki, Frankfurt and Munich. The flights are resuming as international carriers report a surge in travel to China.
Beijing's capital airport is also seeing an increase in outbound travel.
