| HK delays second reading for Article 23 |

Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee－hwa announced on Monday the National Security Bill, known as Article 23 of the Basic Law would not be pushed forward on Wednesday as scheduled.
Tung Chee－hwa said in a statement that although a lot of people think HK SAR government has proactively responded to their demands, many citizens still hope have more time to understand the amendments and the content of the draft bill.
