British Prime Minister Tony Blair is now on an official three－day visit to China. Talks between Blair and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao are now underway. Earlier, Wen Jiabao held a ceremony this morning to welcome the visiting British prime minister.
They are scheduled to sign documents of bilateral cooperation after the talks. During the visit, Blair is also scheduled to meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao and other Chinese leaders.
The British prime minister is also scheduled to visit Tsinghua University and deliver a speech there on Tuesday. He also has stops scheduled in Shanghai and the Hong Kong SAR before returning to Britain.
