The spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Washington Sun Weide told the press Sunday that Director Chen Yunlin and Deputy Director Zhou Mingwei of the Taiwan Affairs Office of China's State Council, and their party, recently visited the US.
He said they held in－depth discussions with the US side about the Taiwan issue in Sino－US relations. Both sides hold that such exchanges are beneficial.
