| Congress makes news overseas |

The Communist Party of China's national congress has not only been a major event within the country. It's also attracted international media attention.
More than 200 TV stations from dozens of countries and regions broadcasted the opening of the Congress, either in part or whole. Major radio stations, TV stations and newspapers in France have all reported the event. Its biggest newspaper gave the event front－page treatment and dedicated page two to the congress' background, content and importance.
The British media say the meeting is a historic one, and the Chinese people will move forward under a new leading group to be elected by the Congress.
Japanese media have also been following the event and focusing on the Three Represents Theory.
Media in Spain have offered extensive reporting of the event.
