Indonesia President Megawati Sukarnoputri has visited the site of Tuesday's hotel bombing. At least 14 were killed and 149 wounded when a powerful car bomb exploded outside the Marriott hotel in downtown Jakarta.
Later Megawati visited a hospital treating the injured, but reporters were kept away from the leader. The hotel, located in a business district near many embassies, was a popular place for visiting foreigners and diplomats. At least one foreigner, a Dutch citizen, was reportedly among the dead.
The official Antara news agency reported that eight foreigners - two Americans, two Singaporeans, two Chinese and one each from Australia and New Zealand - were among the injured. No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
