Wang Conghui

     Wang Conghui joined CCTV international's reporting team in 2002 after two years at Shanghai Television's English Service as an editor and reporter.

     She reports on environmental protection, public health and the tourism industry.

     She has been closely following the major challenges facing China's public health sector in the past two years, such as SARS and AIDS. She did several in-depth stories about an AIDS village in Henan province in 2004.

     She also reports on natural disasters. Her stories on the earthquake in Yunnan province in 2003 won a national news award first prize. Her story on sex education for women in the army won a Shanghai news award second prize in 2002.

     Wang Conghui has a BA in English from Beijing International Studies University.
