It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what Beijing is. Many people will come to this city as complete strangers, but quickly get attached to something about it. Maybe it’s the sight of raindrops bouncing off courtyard rooftops, the scent of fresh cooked rice every night at 6 pm flooding the hutongs, or simply the feeling of being at home. It’s beyond words. But one thing is for sure, you’ll come to love Beijing. I know I do.
