据央视《迎接2006-浪漫珠海》元旦晚会执行导演栾殿湖透露，一直备受多方关注的2006元旦晚会主题歌《我们的新年》，音乐小样已录制完成。主题歌演唱者之一，大家十分喜爱的歌手韦唯刚出录音棚便抑制不住自己的感动，致电总导演罗伟，感慨“这首歌简直太棒了！这是每逢新年都可以唱的歌！是中国的，也是世界的！”

　　中央电视台中英文双语元旦晚会马上就要走过第九个年头了，对于电视观众来说，晚会无疑已经形成了一个强有力的品牌，但一直以来，都没有那么一首歌是真正属于这个品牌的。每每新年到来的时候，大街小巷到处都飘荡着“happy new year, happy new year”的旋律，于是，央视2006元旦晚会剧组从策划方案开始便想要打造一首属于元旦晚会的歌。然而谈何容易！这么一个定位，让一首歌词几易其稿，几易其人！但当元旦晚会总撰稿贾清云和词作家项丹合作的《我们的新年》这首词在一个深夜发送到元旦晚会剧组的时候，整个剧组的人员经历了一个激动的“今夜无人入睡”的不眠之夜！究竟是什么样的歌词能有如此巨大的力量呢？在征得了词作者的同意之后，我们把这首歌词提前奉献给广大读者——
