| Pakistan: US Evidence Enought to Indict bin Laden |

Pakistan says that evidence gathered by the United States against suspected terrorist leader Osama bin Laden was strong enough for an indictment. A Pakistani foreign ministry spokesman said Thursday that the United States had provided Pakistan material linking bin Laden to the terror attacks. It is the first time an Islamic country has backed US claims that bin Laden is responsible for the September 11th attacks. Pakistan's President General Pervez Musharraf had already pledged his country's support for the US campaign against terrorism. Pakistan is the only country that still recognises and maintains diplomatic relations with the Taliban.
