Soldiers at Fort Bragg, the second-largest military base in the US are preparing to deploy at a moment's notice. But government officials refuse to reveal the exact date of their first strike for security reasons. In the Division Ready Brigade in the fort, ammunition was being transported into bunkers, making it easier to move to cargo planes. The deputy director at Fort Bragg said that ammunition bundles are ready to be loaded onto planes at nearby Polk Air Force Base within two hours of notification. It's part of the military's "18-hour wheels up" plan, which indicates a complete deployment within 18 hours. Meanwhile, nearby helicopter battalions are carrying out a routine exercise with their Apache helicopters, which are believed to be the best in the world.
