| Bush Gives TV Address to the Nation |

U.S. President George W. Bush made a televised address to the nation saying the military attack is part of its war against terrorism. He said other fronts are under way through diplomacy and intelligence operations.
President Bush also said the military strike would be accompanied by the delivery of food, medicine and other supplies needed to sustain the people of Afgahnistan.
Just after Bush's speech, United States officials warned Americans of the possiblity of more terrorist attacks following the air strikes in Afghanistan.
