Hungary supports the military strike launched by the United States and Britain on Taliban targets, according to a statement issued by the government on Sunday night.
The statement said the Hungarian government fully supports the U.S. and British military strikes on the terrorists' base in Afghanistan and pays tribute to those who defend the common values of mankind at the risk of their lives.
The statement also said that the action by the U.S. and Britainis against terrorism but not against Islam.
The statement asked the Hungarian people to keep united, unanimous and calm.
