The House of Commons of Britain is to be recalled for an emergency session on Monday evening in the wake of British involvement in military strikes on Afghanistan, said a Downing Street spokesman.
During the four-hour session starting at 6 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), parliament members are expected to hear details of action taken so far against Afghanistan, which Prime Minister Tony Blair confirmed involved missiles fired from British submarines.
The move came moments after opposition Conservative Party leader Iain Duncan Smith called for parliament to be recalled as soon as possible. British parliament has already been recalled twice since the terror attacks on U.S. on September 11.
