Albania Holds Emergency Meeting on U.S. Attacks against Afghanistan |

Albanian Defense Minister Pandeli Majko held an emergency meeting with his general staff after the United States and Britain launched air strikes against Afghanistan's Taliban regime Sunday evening, discussing Albanian government and military's reaction to them.
According to the Defense Ministry, the Albanian military is nowon high alert after the attacks, and the government is following the situation in that area closely.
The Albanian newspaper, Gaze ta Shqiptare, reported Sunday that Albanian police have arrested six Muslims suspected of having certain relations with Osama Bin Laden, the chief suspect behind the September 11 attacks on the United States, and decided to expel them.
