| Ban on Afghan Refugees in Demostrtions Reiterated in Pakistan |

Afghan refugees in Pakistan will not be allowed to participate in public gatherings or demonstrations and any one found to do so will be extradited to Afghanistan.
The ban was reiterated in Peshawar on Sunday by Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, governor of Pakistan's Northwest Frontier province, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
In a statement Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah said that government of Pakistan had provided shelter to Afghan refugees on humanitarian grounds and they should not act in contravention to their status by indulging in demonstrations, thereby creating law and order situation.
While expressing the government's resolve to maintain law and order situation at every cost, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah vowed to deal with disruptions with an iron hand.
He said that law enforcing agencies had been strictly directed to keep a vigilant eye on the lawbreakers and act accordingly.
Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah also called on the people to be aware of the nefarious designs of these disgruntled elements who were out to create chaos.
"The solidarity and integrity of Pakistan should be our top most priority and all our thinking as well as acts should reflect our immense love for Pakistan in its true spirit," he remarked.
Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah said that the government believed in complete freedom of expression, but that also ought to be in certain limits, not hurting the right of other people who wanted to carry out their routine work or business in a peaceful atmosphere and without any fear.
He, however, made it clear that violence and any effort on part of vested interest elements to damage public or private property wound not be tolerated and all those found indulged in such activities would be taken to task.
