Related News		Home>> China>> World>> Business U.S. Missiles Hit Jalalabad : AIP  MON, OCT 15, 2001 A military base No.1 Corp in the east of Jalalabad, capital of Nangarhar province, was attacked at around 0915 a.m. local time during a fresh wave of U.S.-led airstrikes Monday morning, according to the Pakistan-based Afghan Islamic Press (AIP). Quoting witnesses, the AIP said military facilities in the base were damaged but no information of casualties is available so far.
