The U.S. air strikes against Afghanistan cities Thursday are currently hitting Taliban positions and barracks, the Cable News Network (CNN) reported.
The report also said that the U.S. warplanes destroyed three government buildings Thursday in the southeastern Afghan city of Kandahar, the Taliban stronghold.
Earlier in the day, U.S. warplanes launched a propaganda war against the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan, broadcasting radio messages into and dropping leaflets on the country. The radio messages and leaflets condemned the Taliban rulers and touted the U.S. state-of-the-art weaponry.
