US President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair both said on Wednesday they are determined to win the war against terrorism.
Meanwhile, Bush announced that the United States has closed the offices of two "terror-supporting financial networks" with links to Osama bin Laden in four US states. At a joint White House news conference after their meeting , the two allies in the war on terrorism confidently offered back-to-back pledges of victory, no matter how long it takes. But Blair is reportedly under pressure at home to urge Bush to halt the bombing of Afghanistan. Meanwhile, US President George W. Bush said the US government has blocked the US assets of 62 individuals and organizations connected with two terror-supporting financial networks: the "Al Taqwa" and the "Al Barakat", which are suspected of funding and masterminding the September 11th attacks on the United States.
