钢琴家：孔祥东

　　CCTV .com消息：孔祥东是活跃于当今国际乐坛的中国青年钢琴家，已有40多个国家的观众亲身感受过他激情洋溢的演奏，不论是在纽约林肯艺术中心、阿姆斯特丹的荷京音乐厅、洛杉机的大使音乐厅、东京的山托利音乐厅还是悉尼歌剧院，孔祥东以自己的音乐魅力征服了观众，被西方媒体盛赞为“真正能激动人心的天才钢琴家”。

　　孔祥东在他的艺术历程中曾多次获得殊荣，1986年莫斯科国际钢琴大赛和1987年西班牙桑坦德尔国际大赛中，他两度成为最年轻的获奖者，从而引起世界乐坛的注目；1988年他成为美国吉纳?巴考尔国际比赛的金奖得主；1992年，孔祥东在国际乐坛大放异彩，一举获得第五届悉尼国际钢琴比赛的第一名以及四项特别奖。从此，孔祥东享誉国际乐坛并呈现出强劲的发展势头。他的唱片获得香港唱片工业协会颁发的白金唱片奖；他成为第一位在著名的好莱坞露天剧场演奏的中国钢琴家；作为“亚洲及中国的文化大使”，孔祥东在韩国成功举行了历史性的中韩建交音乐会； 1997年，他又参与策划了在洛杉机举办的大型中国歌舞音乐烟花晚会“为中国喝彩”，大获成功；1999年8月，孔祥东在西藏拉萨举行了他和作曲家乔治奥?莫若德一起创作的《西藏梦》大型钢琴组曲的首演，获得了巨大的成功。2000年12月，孔祥东受澳门特区政府之邀，参加澳门回归一周年大型庆祝音乐会，他演奏的《黄河》协奏曲在当地引起轰动。

　　孔祥东曾为BMG/RCA唱片公司、澳大利亚的 WALSINGHAM CLASSICS、美国的 ARCADIA、香港的 WAVE MOTION以及中国唱片公司录制个人专辑，他录制的磁带和CD在全球的发行量已突破千万大关。目前，他是NAXOS/MARCOPOLO唱片公司旗下的签约艺术家。

　　孔祥东还致力于钢琴教育，1997－1998年，他在上海浦东新区和苏州新区创办了“孔祥东音乐艺术中心”；1997－2000年，又分别在上海和四川举行了“孔祥东少儿钢琴比赛”，赢得广泛好评。他还连续两届为美国吉纳?巴考尔国际比赛选拔输送中国选手，为中国钢琴人才走上国际舞台铺路。

　　孔祥东现为同济大学等国内外多所大学的客座教授。

　　Kong Xiangdong Pianist

　　Among Chinese musicians active in the international music scene is Kong Xiangdong who has performed in more than forty countries. He has given his performance at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York, the Resident Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Ambassador Auditorium in Los Angeles, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, and Sydney Opera House in Australia. Lauded by critics as ‘phenomenal talent’, he has conquered the audience with his music.

　　With the prizes from Moscow’s 1986 Tchaikovsky International Competition and Spain’s 1987 Santander International Competition, he attracted the attention of the international music field as the youngest winner at two competitions. He has also won other prizes, including the Grand Prize at the Gina Bachauer International Competition in 1988 and the Fist Prize and four additional awards at the 5th Sydney International Competition of Australia in 1992. His album has also been awarded the prestigious Platinum Recording Award in Hong Kong.

　　Kong Xiangdong has been the first Chinese pianist who debuted at Hollywood Bowl. As a Cultural Ambassador of Asia and China, he toured South Korea to give concerts in 1993 marking the establishment of diplomatic relations between that country and the People’s Republic of China. In 1997, Evening of Chinese Music and Dance at the Hollywood Bowl, ‘Bravo, China!’, with Kong heavily involved in its organization, turned to be a great success. In Lhasa, he initiated the Tibet debut of Piano Suite Tibet Dream jointly composed by the three-time Oscar Winner, Mr. Giorgio Moroder. In December 2000, at the invitation from Macao, he participated in the gala of the first anniversary of the return to China, performing Yellow River Concerto.

　　Mr. Kong has made recordings for BMG/RAC Red Seal, Walsingham Classics (Australia), Arcadia Records (USA), Wave Motion (Hong Kong) and China Records. Right now he has signed exclusively with Naxos/Marcopolo.

　　In addition to performing, he involves himself in the field of music education. He established Kong Xiangdong Music Arts Center in Shanghai in 1997 and Suzhou in 1998. He has also initiated Kong Xiangdong Children’s Piano Competition in Shanghai and Sichuan. He has recommended Chinese candidates to the Gina Bachauer International Competition twice consecutively.

　　Kong Xiangdong is the guest professor in conservatoires both inside and outside China.
