Wen Jiabao meets African Leaders
To Prime Minister Jose Maria Pereira Neves of Cape Verde, Premier Wen said that China itself is a developing country, but would like to do what it can to help its friends. Both agreed that as a archipelago, Cape Verde enjoyed advantages in sea freight and tourism.
During his meeting with Lesotho Prime Minister Paka-litha Mo-sisili, Premier Wen propose to extend the Chinese government's encouragement of Chinese businesses to invest in the country. And he hoped Lesotho would be able to take full advantage of the policies propounded in the summit to expand its exports to China. For his part Mosisili said Lesotho firmly supported the one-China policy.
