布达拉宫 Potala Palace

这座五世达赖的灵塔高达14.85米，共花费了52吨白银、5.5吨黄金和15000多颗珍珠、玛瑙和宝石。
This stupa of Dalai Ⅴ is 14.85 meters high and it cost 52 tons of silver, 5.5 tons of gold and 15,000 pearls, agates and gems in total.

宫内还收藏了大量贝叶经、甘珠尔经等珍贵经文典集以及表明历史上西藏地方政府与中央政府关系的明清两代皇帝封赐达赖喇嘛的金册、玉册、金印以及金银器、玉器、瓷器、珐琅和锦缎品等工艺品。
The Potala Palace collects a large number of Beiye sutra, GanZhuer sutra and other precious Buddhist classics and records, as well as gold volumes, jade volumes, gold seal, gold and silver wares, jade articles, porcelain wares, enamels, brocades and handicraft articles bestowed to Dalai Lama by the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties to show the relationship of Tibetan local government and the central government.

布达拉宫1961年由中国国务院颁布为第一批全国重点文物保护单位。
The Potala Palace was announced by the Chinese State Department as the first lot of important nation-level preservation units of cultural relics in 1961.

1994年被联合国教科文组织作为文化遗产，正式列入《世界遗产名录》。
It was formally listed in the “World Heritage Directory” by UNESCO in 1994.
